Wild Honey 2

Tunisian. A bit too spicy for my liking. But baked eggs are the bomb.

I would have liked it a bit more tomato-ey. Just like how I like my chilli crab.

Never had the Pancakes before, so decided to give it a good. Plus points, they come with back bacon!

The berries compote is too sourish for me. Maybe I just don't like berries compote. I would have loved fresh cream served with my pancakes, but they were not available here.

So so.... and I still think Wild Honey is abit overpriced. And there is always a long queue.

Tom's Palette 2

Quick visit back to Tom's Palette. Simple pictorial.

Salty caramel is a very interesting flavour. Make a guess of we had. I will buy you ice cream if you get all correct. :)

Liang Ji 2

Double flavour crabs ($45).
We are back to Liang Ji again! Here is the previous review if you had missed it.

Simple stir fry vegetables. ($8)

Stir-fry big intestine ($8)

Fried Dou-Fu ($8). The items mentioned above had been reviewed previously and had not changed. New dish for the day is this fried beancurd. Simple, or too simple but fresh ingredients nevertheless. Crispy on the outside and soft, silky on the inside. I thought it would had been better if there is some kind of dipping sauce or something strong (wasabi?) for it to go with.

And this time round we ordered the curry fishhead ($16), instead of the steamed nonya fish. Not the best curry fish head, more slanted to the nonya side with the curry slightly more sourish then spicy. Preference is with their famous nonya fish. That cannot go wrong. The curry fishhead is a poor cousin.
